United aim not to just meet legal requirements
in this area but to reach and maintain best
working practice.

Child
Protection
|
| Perrywoods
follows and endorses the F.A Child Protection
Policy. |
| We
have appointed a Child Welfare Officer to oversee
the area, and to act as a contact over child protection
issues. |

Staff
Recruitment and Training
|
| Every
team will have at least one coach qualified at
a minimum of Level 1 standard, including child
protection and first aid modules. |
| All
staff are issued with standard drill tops and
identification cards. |
| All
prospective volunteers are now asked to complete
a Criminal Records Bureau checks will also be
carried out. |
| Monthly
staff meetings are held to allow new policy and
information to be disseminated. |

Conduct
All
members of the club - parents, staff, players
and visitors are expected to adhere to the Code
of Conduct laid out in the club constitution.
The consequences of non-compliance are set out
in the programme issued at the start of the
season.

First
Aid
First
aid kits are provided for each section and reguarly
restocked.

| Each
coach undertaking the F.A Level 1 course will
have emergency first aid training. |
| It
is a condition of membership that players registered
at Perrywoods must not register or play for any
other team, with the exception of school or district
sides. This is to protect against overuse injuries. |
